This mask consists of four parts and just two that need to be cleaned, making it easier to use and care for than other masks. Uses a one-size adjustable headgear that is interchangeable with most Respironics masks. Requires less tightening to ensure a seal, which means better patient comfort and may lead to improved compliance.

Simplicity™ Nasal Mask with Headgear

The Simplicity Nasal Mask’s small, lightweight cushion sits on the tip of the nose, eliminating pressure and irritation on the bridge of the nose. This allows patients to wear eyeglasses and eliminates airflow to the eyes – a contributing factor in contracting conjunctivitis. A unique one-size-fits-most headgear is packaged with the mask. The pre-assembled mask simplifies use and reduces lost parts. The mask assembly and headgear are the only pieces that need to be cleaned.

Adjustable forehead arm and pads provide the best angle for seal and comfort - without over tightening the headgear. Adjustable forehead support raises and lowers for proper mask angle. Quick release hose swivel easily disconnects the hose from the mask for greater nighttime mobility. Soft textured dual-flap cushion for ultimate in comfort and performance. ComfortHeadgearTM is specifically designed for a sturdier, more stable mask foundation. Ball-and-socket clips allow for best angle of headgear support and simple insertion or removal. Exhalation diffuser offers quiet exhalation. Entrainment valve provides quick access to room air if pressure is less than 3 cm H2O.

Total Face Mask

The Total Face Mask is a unique alternative for patients in the hospital or home who have difficulty tolerating nasal masks used with BiPAP® or CPAP systems. Provides a fast, effective seal and eliminates pressure sores caused by some nasal masks. Air pressure from the system inflates the soft, flexible sealing layer, which minimizes leaks while providing optimal airflow through the nasal passages. Air pressure circulates throughout the mask, allowing more natural, comfortable breathing. The clear, lightweight plastic faceplate adds to the comfort and does not obstruct vision to help minimize claustrophobia in some patients. Comes in one size with an easy-to-use headgear that quickly fits most patients.
